This buoy is outside of Rockport Harbor…probably too far to hear from shore. There are several around Cape Ann. I will try to find a resource that tells exactly where they are all located and see if there is one you could hear from shore early in the morning or late in the evening.

If you look at these charts and find the buoys located around Cape Ann, several will say “Bell”….indicating that they are a bell buoy.
