  1. Listening to the podcast–I was thinking perhaps you saw more coyotes last year because of all the snow cover–food may have been more difficult to find in the snow.

  2. Excellent Podcast – all the way around! My era cape Ann (1957-1968) two years in the Boston Somerville mid 50’s area 1-2 years old. The coyotes are coming around more and more as moving into what used to be their areas and people feeding them, small domestic animals, take away their fear of humans! As kids we went all through woods all over and used to see foxes, raccoons, rabbits, a coyote possible from time to time but if you were noisy and they were scared of humans more so.

I lived deep in national Forrest in Northern NM lot’s of wildlife very remote not too many lived that way in 1968 August, had a very large rattler that liked the outhouse if you left the door open :-O Dave 🙂 & Kim

This is good information for the western side of USA…The key to remember is more than one (pack) increase danger’s, birth time where mom is caring for Kit’s…Mass wildlife site better for that way! When we went to CA was in the wine country 1970’s Healdsburg is a city located in Sonoma County, California…Farthest south went was Richmond after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. There were bunches of eucalyptus tree’s coming down from the north on 101 as you got close to San Francisco – I shared driving responsibility with step dad summer vacati8on trip drove from NM to CA I was a whooping 17-18 years old..

Coyotes West coast!. (CA) Useful information older report!
