The old girl is looking good. When I was assistant keeper at E.P.L.S and Richard Arnold was the head keeper ; a long time ago in a galaxy far away;Ha !! There was one kick butt NorEaster and Capt Alvin Arnold could not get out to haul back for three days with things looking better he wanted to give it a run but, he couldn’t round up the whole crew. I had gotten to know the Arnold family while stationed with Richard and his wife Lois so — Alvin called Richard and asked him if he could borrow me for trip. So , that was one of two trips that I made on the Phyllis A.. She had a Budda Diesel in her then now , It’s a Detroit 6-71.Cheers to the old girl,[ I think that I was the only Light Keeper that, while stationed at a light station that got sea time.
