Follow the food these gulls are very observant and aware – when I fished as a young lad off lanescove breakwall then used to sit up above where the flag flies now and had some even try to run off with your fish…Never got mine keep it out of site until close to top then pull on the granite. But one grabbed my younger brothers gull was on the other side breakwall and saw it took off swallowed fish and hook reeled it in and un-hooked the gull thrashing about – little blood but ok was happy to be let go. Thanks 🙂 Dave
