I fished tuna in the early 1950s in my boat. We took tuna inshore frequently; at the Dry Salvages,
off Halubut Point and off the Isle of Shoals; though by far the most were taken on Middlebank and
just west or east of Jeffries.

No, but caught one up inside the Merrimack River in front of the Newburyport Yacht Club.

That was a great response from Bill Hubbard and lesson there for sure. I remember in the 60’s over by George Morey Shack on the landing there was a double Decker with a plank on front stored during winter…I kids would crawl in it and play that we were out on the water had wheel topside…:-)
