It was a great opening, and Leslie’s apple and peach pies were amazing topped with Richardson’s French vanilla ice cream! Her exhibit is up through September 20th, so stop by and see it.

Thanks, EJ, Fred and Paul for your comments! I had a great time getting reacquainted with the arts community up here on the Cape! Hope to see you at Mug Up on Sunday!

EJ – It was a great opening, and Leslie’s work was incredible. It was a HUGE display of her artistic ability. And the pies? “Mine Gott in Himmel,” they were out of this world. She made six of them, and none survived for me to take home. Thankfully, Leslie and her BF live a stone’s throw from me. We’ll have her over sometime, and she can bring dessert! GMG post on your event tomorrow. I could say more, but as Bex signs off: OUT.

One thing I neglected to do at opening was to give Paul a big hug.. Community and Caring should be first in my mind.. His loss of his father and son last year is beyond comprehension. I want tp know my fellow GMG blog mate Paul better. That’s us, and we can take care of our own. I don’t like to repeat myself, but that’s how we roll.

Now this is something just like great grandmother used to make – she almost made to 107 spent her last days at Greycliff Nursing home and what a great bunch of folks from what aunt and others told me!
