Thank you everyone who posted and cross posted. It resulted in one very good lead and that is all it takes. We were oh so close. Willow had met the interested party, they fell in love, Willow and his dog played non stop and we thought this is it. But it wasn’t to be for Willow and she now sits in the kennel waiting yet again. Everyone was heartbroken. The physical environment of the house was just not right for Willow. In addition to meeting the requirements of this special adopter, the physical environment has to be conducive to minimal stimulation. Willow requires a completely fenced in back yard in a quiet setting since the home will be where she is most happy and will spend the vast majority of her time. And so the search is still on.
