Thanks Marty for the photo and the words. I was wondering where the “Like” button when to, which one could press (“Two Bloggers Like This”)? I found it useful to encourage GMG contributors when I didn’t have the time or words at hand to leave a written comment. Probably a question for WordPress or Joey, but since I would have done it here, thought you’d like to know. I “Like” your post. Fred

It’s the beach at the southern end of Plum Island. It’s the state beach south of the Parker River Refuge. Right now it’s the only beach open on Plum Island. The others are temporarily closed to accommodate the plover population.

ah yes, thx. I’ve been there and it IS an astonishing spot — and usually unpeopled. . . Mary Oliver inspires . .. think she would like it there, too. You have captured her spirit.
