That sounds abut right, it is insane. My typical commute from G-town to Wellesley (approx 50 miles, all except 2 highway) takes 2 hours, usually more. 😦

Hi William – was that in 1975? haha.
I commuted to Winter St., Waltham for about a hear – 2007-2008. 2 hours, easy. Glad that’s over! This was the routine: Leave Cape ann @ 6:30. 1 hour to rt 3 Burlington, 1 additional hour to cover the 8 last miles to my exit. On rainy days I’d hit the wall as far back as Wakefield. Gimme a commute to Boston over the western ‘burbs any day!
It could be a lot worse – a colleague who lived on Cape Cod though he was so clever: Get a minivan, leave at 4:00 am, drive 2 hours (without traffic), and then sleep in the van until 8:30 -9. Sounds miserable.
