Hi GMG….
My husband and I were walking the Boulevard Friday night and came upon what we think to be the "Pavilion Pup" basking on the rock near the tennis courts.
He/she looked pretty healthy and playful :-) ~Bridgette & Neil Mathews

Heck if I know if it is the pup, but regardless if it is or isn’t still a great picture!

He doesn’t look forlorn to me, more like “I don’t have a middle finger so my tail will have to do.”

Beauty photo. I’ll bet it is little Pavi. Any sign of the mother?

Always watch from afar they can look cute and harmless but they do bite and their body’s are coated with bacteria and such that can harm humans. Must only be handled by experts so enjoy but use your head. A flip side of the coin seals are a curse when over population can cause large damage to the coastal fisheries of the world.

No worries…this pic was taken with a 400 mm lens from the safety of the Boulevard. 😀
