  2. Ahh- Annie Dillard- now there’s a nature girl if I ever saw one! I think of her whenever I’m playing outdoors. Thanks for this quote, Marty, which really sums up her writing, and, of course, for the photo, which illustrates that line so well.

  3. my wife was reading a mystery novel the other night and one of the characters says: “nobody gets out of here alive. we might as well enjoy ourselves.” one of the things i keep enjoying are the photos you post. you are very damn good. keep posting and i’ll keep enjoying til they turn out the lights… thanks!
