If you’ve always said you want to catch Mug Up at Khan Studio and the Good Morning Gloucester on Madfish Wharf, but haven’t yet (Jenn Cullen), summer is waning and there will only be a few more Mug Ups before we close up shop for the winter at 77 Rocky Neck. So . . . come on over this Sunday at 10:00 and join us for some good food, company and conversation. No one bites, except Paul Frontiero occasionally and not very hard, and its always fun.

Oh Ej! I think only in Gloucester do artists actually get up before noon on Sundays. (That’s how we got our reputation as heathens in the first place!) Or y’all just still up from Saturday night? I keep trying to make it in to a Mug Up before the the summer ends. Hopefully, I’ll drag my sorry butt out of bed in time next weekend. So glad you’re doing these!

Su, actually, we’re not all heathens all of the time. If you’re going to make a mug up before they end on Rocky Neck, you might want to plan to catch the Grand Finale mug up on October 2, which is also going to be our First Annual Bloody Mary Competition. It should be worth getting up early for, and then going back to bed after.

Alas…how true. And I deserved to be called out for sure! Though I swear I was hostessing one of the busiest Sundays we’ve ever had at Sugar Mags today. Also sorry my dad seems to be following in my footsteps and pulled a no show as well, he had no excuse other than the great view to be had of the Parade of Sails from my living room. Next week I will be there and am planning to bring a friend or three. Can’t wait to see the pics from today.
