Hi Joey,
I just posted a short video of Marvin Tighe (Rocky Neck) striper fishing off Flat Rocks at Rockport.
He lands a schoolie and gives  some commentary on bait.

  1. Schoolies should be arriving in less than a month! I might splurge and upgrade my rod holder on my kayak (PVC pipe on a milk crate) to that fancy one he has. It would be nice not to have to reach back.

  2. Hi Paul,
    those rod holders don’t cost much and are easy to install. You can find them at New England Small Craft in Rowely.

    Just be sure to install it far enough forward on the foredeck that the rod and reel and mount don’t interfere with your paddlestroke.

      thanks for the tip. I will try out New England Small Craft in Rowley. This time of year just walking around a store like that will get the blood flowing. The A01 buoy just ticked up to 41F. Just nine more degrees …
