Noticed today’s GMG “headline”…we here “on the ocean” know that “Ho” (as in “land ho”) indicates an announcement/pronouncement among seafarers. However, there might be some room for reader misinterpretation (double entendre as they say) given the current use of “slang” expressions these days. Knowing GMG (and Joey C) I doubt it was intentional, but some clarification might be in order to avoid any misunderstanding 🙂
