Holiday Trash Collection Schedule for the week of January 17th
In observance of Martin Luther King Day, trash will not be picked up on Monday January 17th. Collection will be delayed one day.Monday trash & recycling will be collected Tuesday, January 18th
Tuesday trash & recycling will be collected Wednesday, January 19th
Wednesday trash & recycling will be collected Thursday, January 20th
Thursday trash & recycling will be collected Friday, January 21st
Friday trash & recycling will be collected Saturday, January 22nd

I always laugh when I read this litany. Used to be simple enough to say trash pickup will be delayed one day. Nowadays, it has to be specified for each day what the one day delay will be. I can just picture the conversation when this is happening…
Trash Official: Next week, trash will be delayed one day due to the Monday holiday.
Citizen: So when does the Monday trash get picked up?
TO: It will be picked up on Tuesday, one day later.
Citizen: but what about the Tuesday pickup.
TO: It will be picked up on Wednesday, one day later.
Citizen: Won’t that be a problem with the Wednesday Trash?
TO: No, because that will be picked up on Thursday, one day later.
Citizen: Seems to me that might cause a problem with the Thursday trash….
