Hello!
If you are in St. Lucia now, I have a restaurant recommendation for you- where the local people eat.
Go to Soufriere, (between the Pitons) and ask for Jah Lamb’s place. Best authentic Rasta fare, cooked for you by a gentle Rasta man. (Rodney Bay is for tourists.)

Typical meals in St Lucia include meat or fish FULL OF BONES! First time I got a meal there, I thought, “Whoa! This is great- this stew is FULL of meat…” It was all bones and gristle! Same thing with fish. Heads, scales- it all goes into the pot. You get used to it….
