Manny, thank you for helping to document this event. I hope you caught up with them for the cooking with “Folly Cove Rum” section. The Show is “Bouffe en Cavale” or “Gourmets on the Go”.
Host Vincent Chatigny and Chef Normand Helms are in their 4th season. Here for only just 1.5 days, it was great fun working with them and their team. They now know more about “Glosta” and desire to return. More info available at: http://www.evasion.tv/emissions/bouffe_en_cavale (Pardon, it is French).

Paul,
The popular recipe for minute-rice is a twist to the Julia Child method. (Great Woman).
You need: 2 cups water to a boil, salt to taste (the only time for a starch I’ve been told), 1 cup of rice , 4 oz of Folly Cove Rum, Ice.
Add rice to boiling water, turn heat off, Put a lid on the rice.
Next add rum to ice, sit back, relax, read Good Morning Gloucester or look out the window and sip the Folly Cove Rum.
Ba-Da-Bing!
