Here are two Photos of things I’ve seen many times but have no idea what’s the story on them. Anyone know anything about them?
I’ve driven by this Statue on Rocky Neck many times. Is there a story behind this?
How about this boat. Is it a pleasure boat? A work boat? A military Boat? Anyone know?

The statue is called “Job” and is part of State of the Art Gallery’s collection. Their gallery is downtown on Pleasant St. across from Pleasant St. Tea Co. That statue is in the sculpture garden of the house where the owners, Sharon Pablo and Roger Armstrong live.

The second boat belongs to either Drew Domenic of Joe Borland (not sure which) but they use it on the sets of movie productions.

I think it is Joe Borland’s boat.

I just saw my sculpture, Jobab for the first time. Roger Armstrong and I, Sharon Pablo live at 4 Wonson St. in Rocky Neck and own Jobab. We have an art gallery at the Wonson St. address and another at 18 Pleasant (State of the Art Gallery) The sculpture was created by Pablo Eduardo who did the Mayor Kevin White statue. It depicts the sufferings of Job from the Bible. He has over-sized feet and hands. He is bronze and weighs 300 lbs. and is attached on the bottom to a 600 lb. piece of granite. Nice picture and thanks
