Good Morning:
Hope all enjoyed their weekend with the glorious weather. I think we need to do Main and Rogers again. Maybe if more and more people see us out there they in turn with take pride.
Saturday: April 10, 2010
Where: St. Peter’s Square
Time: 8:00 am
Please bring brooms, gloves, dust pans if you can and I will get the bags from the DPW…
Remember the benefit on Saturday night for the Gloucester Fisherman Athletic Association
great cause and our great local musicians.
Thanks and enjoy your day.
Donna

City leaders, concerned musicians and the Gloucester Fishermen’s Athletic Assoc. have banded together to create a Battle of the Bands Weekend, Fri & Sat. April 9 & 10 at Gloucester High School Auditorium to raise money to help school sports and rebuild the crumbling bleachers at Newell Stadium so that football and other games can be played. Both events begin at 8 pm and feature the city’s top musical talent.
The Friday show is oriented more to younger bands and emcee’d by football record setter Connor Ressel, while the Sat. tilt features the cream of 7 area bands, headlined by Fly Amero, Allen Estes, Willie Alexander, The Tide and is emcee’d by the spectacular Linda Amero. Tickets are $10 for Friday and $20 for Saturday and 100% of the proceeds will go to save Gloucester sports, the stadium and cut sports fee’s for student athletes.
All parties are citizens committed to solving an immediate problem without waiting around for a cash strapped local government that can’t bail them out. For more info, email gordon@rampartsfarm.com

One of the Rocks I Sketched on and left on Pebble Beach was Found. Here is the Email I received;
“Cool, Found your Rock.. What a Great Idea! Love it! Keep it Up! Found on Sat. 3/27”
I was surprised with the nice emails I received commenting about it. I thought it was a little Silly. But I guess you never know what will interest some people. Maybe because it’s FREE?
There is still one left. It was left on a Barrier Rock not far from the one that was found at Pepple Beach in Rockport.
It’s a little smaller than the one that was found. If anyone finds it and would like their photo on GMG just give me an email, It’s on the Rock. GOODLUCK?
Look for some more Art Rocks Strewn about Gloucester Soon.
I need a Name Like Sharon came up with for her game Where’s ZAT. Hmmmm how about Find ZIT? Maybe Not.

Good Harbor Beach is the largest beach we have on Cape Ann. It’s a beauty!

padraiginineill’s submits these photos to the GMG Flickr Group! While painting Fenway a few perfectly placed Homie stickers make it just right IMO! Thanks for the contribution!
We still have stickers left if you are going to be somewhere cool either swing down the dock for one or send in a self stamped and addressed envelope and I’ll get one out to you- Free!
