Ceramic Fish At Bodin Historic Photo On Main Street
Yesterday I got in to see Fred Bodin at Bodin Historic Photo on Main Street In Beautiful Downtown Gloucester. Fred has all types of fish native to our waters cast in ceramic. They are very accurate and representative of teh types of the fish right down to the shading and coloring. This catfish is spot on. I have a couple of videos from inside Fred’s studio coming up later in the day.

Dia del Muerto Celebration at Pleasant St Tea and Coffee Co
From Kitt Cox-
Hola Familia y Amigos,
Sunday November One, we hope you’ll join us for our second recognition and celebration of the Day of the Dead, or Dia del Muerto….it’s a chance to reflect and remember those of our family and friends who are dead, but never really gone from our thoughts and often, even our actions.
We’ll be at the Pleasant Street Tea Company in Gloucester beginning around two in the afternoon. Last year, it proved to be the perfect environment for our first gathering. It’s a great space to sing, reflect, tell a story, connect with a friend or share a poem.
There’s a fine selection of food and beverages available, and we’ll provide a microphone to any and all with a tale to tell or past lives to ponder … both tears and chortles are encouraged.
Please let us know if you’re interested in joining us on Pleasant Street …it will make our planning a bit easier.

“Just in time for Halloween, We have Orville Gidding’s dental work on display for you this Thursday at the Rumline. Yes, the Imam of Ipswich returns, leading us all, once again, to a little higher ground, where we can all get dizzy from lack of oxygen. Thankfully, one air conditioner still works, I think.
Behind it all we also have “Li’l Steevee” Chaggaris, on Drumps, skins, and noise, As well as GregT. on goiter, and , of course meeself, on base, with two out and a full count. See what happens.”
NEXT WEEK: over the Cliff Spenser, for hire, and Joseph Stalin Screamering on Drums. Be there!
