Event will celebrate music and dance:Ā Gund Kwok Asian Lion and Dragon Dance Troupe; recent immigrants from Nepal will perform music of the Gandharvas; indigenous music of Greece led by Vasilis Kostas; salsa lesson from Eli Lady Pabon; and music from Latin Logic (photo above).
I wonder if Carlos Menenzes (Cape Ann Big Band;Jambalaya horns, O’Maley), Zach Gorrell, Docksiders, and other area artists and musicians know these groups and vice versa?

former lead singer and creative force behind the group YES,Ā Jon Anderson stands as one of the most recognizable voices in progressive rock. His distinctive high tenor remained a fixture on mainstream rock radio for decades, fronting the bandās biggest hits throughout the 70ās and 80ās including āIāve Seen All Good People,ā āRoundabout,ā and āOwner of a Lonely Heart.ā He was also primarily responsible for many of the bandās epic pieces like āClose to the Edge,ā āAwakenā and āThe Gates of Delirium.ā Since parting ways with YES, Anderson has continued his idiosyncratic musical path, touring and releasing solo records while delving into folk and world music. Ā
