Jane Gibbs Represents! In Sunny Bermuda

Hi Joey!

Here I am at the Royal Naval Dockyard  in beautiful  Bermuda representing the best blog evah!  I cruised for the first time, aboard the Norwegian Dawn, on the Boston to Bermuda run, with a gang of 8 other passionate and crazy-ass seaglassers to peruse the Bermuda beaches. Had planned to take the sticker to the top of the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse but blew off that excursion to snorkel for seaglass at Fort St. Catherine! Congratulations on the CBS Boston Most Valuable Blogger win!!!!!  Cheers to you and all your GMG peeps!  Gloucester native, longtime FOB, and future return resident – Jane M. Gibbs (PS. Abbey Mathews Represents! In Italy

Hi Joey!
The Mathews family are big fans of Good Morning Gloucester and our daughter Abbey who just Graduated from UMass Amherst this spring is spending a year in Florence Italy working on her Masters.  Here she is "representing" at the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio.    She’s already missing the Fall here…so I’m sure she’ll be looking forward to the fall pictures on GMG!

Hey Joey, I just spent the weekend in Las Vegas.  In need of a "gambling free zone", I made a side trip to Hoover Dam.  Damn that’s a big dam!  Took along my new GMG decal.  It was 105 degrees, I’m surprised it didn’t melt to my hand.  Quality sticker!

Lisa Ramos Represents! Down In Sanibel

Joey, I brought my GMG sticka to Sanibel last week to represent at Blind Pass.  Funny thing happened on the way back to get coffee.  I went into the Sanibel Bean shop.  They have great photos of people all over the world holding theirs too.  But then when I told the lady that I have just done the same with my Good Morning Gloucester sticka and showed it to her, and asked for a Sanibel bean bumpa sticka and I would take a pick in front of the fishermans statue for her, she could not understand what I was asking for.

Lady -"What is it you would like dear?"

Me- "A bumpa sicka"

Lady "A what?"

Me – " A BUMPA STICKA!"

Lady – "what?"

Me-  pause   "Oh sorry a bumperrrr stickerrrr"

Then I got one of hers and gave her my GMG sticka.

Hey Joey,
Just to let you and Frankie know how much we appreciate your help and warm attention to make our annual reunion a success each year.
Hailing  from New York City, New Jersey, Chicago area, Baltimore, and Massachusetts, our Bumagin-Korn clan represents 4 generations who come together in Gloucester to celebrate the fourth and family every year. And we always include a wonderful Lobsta-Fest, relying on the good graces of Captain Joe and Sons.

  Hi Joey,
My niece is in the Peace Corps and has been in the Philippines since the
fall. She is in Coastal Resource Management and is helping their  fishing
community with environmental protection and sustenance. She is in the
Southern Leyte region, which is  below the main island that Manila is on,
and she is on a very remote island.  I sent her a GMG sticker and every time
I write, I reminded her to take a pic for GMG. Well, she must have gotten
tired of my nagging, because she finally did! So you can add Philippines to
your growing list of "representation" !

Tammy Cohen Represents! In Minnesota (Don’t You Know?)

Hi Joey:
It was nice meeting you last week! As promised here is some GMG
representation in Minnesota. Just for the record, this 44 foot tall
snowman is not actually made of snow. That said, it is supposed to
snow here again tonight. (Can I come back to Gloucester now?)
And by the way – the lobsters we purchased from you were amazing. 🙂
