Special thanks to all of the beautiful families who welcomed us into their homes, Sefathia for organizing the Trolley, Bob Ryan from CATA and Eddie Salah who donated his time to drive the Novena Trolley and our trolley mates who did the 2012 Novena crawl.
The work put in by these families is truly astounding and we are all honored by the welcoming by each and every house and huge props go out to the women, men and children that keep this tradition alive. You are what makes our community special.
Kim Smith will do her usual knock out job covering the entire thing in a much more refined manner than my stuff but it will take a bit for her to chew through all the footage.
In the mean time, I’ll be doing a separate post each day from each family, some had more coverage than other from me as while The Bean and Snoop Maddie Mad were still with us I wanted to spend that time with them.

I’ve gone to Vegas for years but rarely leave the Strip. My usual Vegas trip is not what people envision when they think of Vegas. I hardly gamble but spend most of the time at the spa chilling out in the spa lounge or wet facilities Jacuzzi saunas or by the pool and eating my way through town.
This trip my boy had a photo shoot out in Red Rock Canyon for some crazy singer. While I’m also not the type to hike I had a blast. Maybe because the Rabbit let me mess around with his full frame Canon’s but also because Red Rock Canyon is so unlike anything we have out here that I found it fascinating.
It’s only about 15 minutes off the strip and I highly recommend making a day of it if you head out there.

You would think I might have been relaxed by looking at the first picture but due to my extreme fear of heights my heart was beating about a million beats per second.
Take a good look at that mellon on the Rabbit would you? It’s like Elvis went gay and had sex with bhudda and somehow this was the offspring that resulted. And not the young Elvis that all the young girls wet their panties over, the coked out peanut butter twinkie eating Elvis just before he croaked on the crapper.

Three new teams have signed on and we have a T Shirt Sponsor- Jungle Silkscreening and corporate promotional products out of Ipswich!
I told you any team that signs up will get their links and logo included in every Speedo Dodgeball post leading up to the event. GMG is only seen by 25-35,000 people a day so for you to not sponsor a team and get that recognition in these pages for your organization is just plain bad business. Last year we helped make Gloucester the number 3 Arts Destination In the Country in American Style Magazine. This is something we already know obviously but really don’t we deserve to be number one?

2012 American Style “Top Arts Destination” Campaign Kicks Off
In 2011 seARTS, working with the arts community, secured the nomination for Cape Ann/Gloucester as a Top 25 Arts Destination by American Style Magazine. Thanks to your votes, we won the #3 spot on the list for small U.S. cities. Voting time is here again, and this year, we want to aim for the #1 spot and increase our visibility as an arts destination.
Securing Gloucester/Cape Ann on this list again this year as one of America’s Top 25 Arts Destinations will elevate Cape Ann on the national stage. We have over 2,000 working artists on Cape Ann and a thriving community that celebrates the arts of all disciplines. After all, our Rocky Neck is the country’s oldest continuous working art colony in the U.S. while Rockport draws visitors all year long!
To achieve this distinction, seARTS is requesting the entire community’s help in spreading the word. This is a city-based ranking, but all of Cape Ann was included in the destination information submitted and the article in the magazine.
