Now Knowing That This Year’s World Cup Soccer Tourney Is Being Held In Brazil- An Over/Under Death Poll
Craig Kimberley told me yesterday in the GloucesterCast Podcast that this year’s World Cup Soccer tournament is being held in Brazil.
After seeing some of the riots that happen at regular season soccer matches in Brazil I can’t even begin to imagine how many deaths will occur given the elevated emotional state that World Cup Soccer brings.
I’m gonna pin the line at 500 fan deaths and 2.5 Soccer Ref deaths.

Well not much to talk about , we are definitely locked in on a colder pattern . With mostly dry conditions , very cold Tuesday through Monday of next week temps in the 20’s lows single digits to teens with windchill values in the negative range of -10 to + 10 above…. Clouds at times with a few snow showers or flurries … That’s really about it .. Monday maybe a more significant chance for snows , but that’s 5-6 days out plenty of room for changes… I can’t say I see spring around the corner … It’s def delayed.. So keep those furnaces going and windows shut. Have a great Tuesday .. And thanks for reading …

Now to our forecast .. Well Cape Ann I hate to be the bad news messenger but our mild warm times are done for the time being . Temps today 35-40 degrees with clouds and sun .. West to north west winds 15-20 mph .. Monday night cold yup cold nights are back for quite sometime .. Lows in the lower 20’s..
Tuesday even colder highs only around 30 degrees with mostly sunny skies and west winds 15-20mph!
Tuesday night temps plummet into the teens with a chance of snow after midnight ..
Wednesday chance of snow highs around 30 degrees …
Thursday through Sunday sun and clouds temps in low to mid 20’s with night time lows in the single digits to teens .. Saturday snow threat / then very cold Sunday high 21 degrees …
So winter is back with only 24 days left till spring , March is actually looking to be a very cold and potentially snowy stormy month .. 10-15 degrees below the monthly average .. And plenty of chances for frozen precip events …

Free Online Storage and Why You Should Be Using It
I use a bunch of free online storage options. Mainly I use Dropbox for sharing big files, Microsoft OneDrive for stuff that I want to use on any of my computers, GoogleDrive for documents on the fly, Flickr, Amazon mp3 for music. I don’t use Picassa because it seems when people share photos using Picassa they always send the small compressed files rather than the better quality hi res ones. For a blog that relys heavily on photos, that’s sucky. I do think Picassa works well for lots of people and I love most everything else Google but that one little thing drives me nuts about Picassa.
Anyway, it goes without saying that you should back up your hard drive often. I suggest at least one hard copy onto an external drive and a service like Carbonite that backs everything up to the cloud for your important files like photos, music, videos and documents.
But what I’m mainly focusing on in this post are online storage options that are free and allow you access to the bulk of your photos, music and documents for easy access anywhere you are in the world and from any device.
The main one I use because it syncs so perfectly among all my computers and makes beautiful photo albums I can share on the blog is OneDrive from Microsoft (formerly SkyDrive). It allows me to make beautiful slideshows and photo presentations and it’s completely free. I can acess the files from any of my devices including my android phone, Apple iPad, my laptop or my desktop PC. To get it and it’s storage for free click here

Joey, here’s a video from our recent trip to St. John, USVI. We spent the trip looking for sea turtles, and finally found them on our last day.
We stayed at the Concordia Eco-Resort, which I highly recommend to anybody looking to avoid the madding crowds.
