MUST WATCH this almost 100 YEAR OLD footage of the actual unveiling of the Fisherman's Memorial in Gloucester. Filmed on August 23, 1925, the memorial Service was held for those lost at sea. It was sculpted by Leonard Craske, who appears in this video! You can also see children, sons and daughters of those lost, throwing flowers into the sea. #gloucester400 #ourpeopleourstories #fishermensstatue

Loved it! I never knew that there was any video footage of the unveiling of the statue. This was great to see!
