Calm waters and overcast skies at the Lilly pond in West Gloucester.. Soon enough this rock will be a sunning spot for turtles. Spring is here.

    Very nice pond shot a reflective moment love how tree’s and other vegetation find a way for them to bloom and grow. This also reminds me so much of the many we played around and in minus the snapping turtle that the post man yelled at us to not approach and showed us why with an old broomstick he had in truck. Even the painted turtles can have quite a nip if not handled properly!

    1. Thank you,, yes I’ve seen damage a snapper can do, as a kid a friends dog had its face mangled by one,, i can’t remember how many stitches the pup needed
