The search for Theresa Coen, who was last seen on Saturday, is now a recovery operation. “Information obtained throughout the course of investigation has lead Rockport police to determine that it’s unlikely the individual will be found alive,” Rockport police spokesman John Guilfoil said Wednesday night.
Please contact the Rockport Police Department at 978-546-1212 if you have any information about Theresa.

She “went out for a walk” on Penzance Rd, and seemengly did not return. She didn’t go out to commit suicide in the ocean since she could have done that from the house she was renting. So something happened while she walked the road….. was she kidnapped by somebody? Many of the big houses on that road have cameras facing that road, including the one she was renting. Police had to check them out. Was her disappearance a case of domestic violence? She never made it to downtown. Something sinister happened to her within a maybe 1.5 miles distance from her rental home. Very scary. I don’t think she drowned and is in the ocean. No way. Hope this mystery is solved soon
