Of Course this was during my mom’s years growing up that way. She recalled this to me also Past Saturday after I called you!
I also asked mom about the hotel in Annisquam right of the Church on the corner they would go help the regular employee’s kitchen staff wash dishes and in return they would give them food in turn goodies cakes etc. Annisquam Yacht club around this age and older teens would go there to play pool on the table they had there and meet the movie starts who visited or had rental properties for summer or season get-aways. I asked her to name a few she remembered Dorothy Lamore, Arthur McArthur, Helen Hays and others.
