Captain Dave naturally turned to Captain Tom Orrell, from where he beganĀ his fishing career. Capt. Orrell owns and operates Yankee Fleet Fishing. Orrell was all on board with the idea and has donated his largest ship, the Yankee Freedom. Jim Destino donated lunch and Mayor Romeo ThekenĀ and the City helped organize gift bags.

My friendĀ Charlotte Forsythe has decorated the hotel that she co-owns withĀ herĀ husband Gerald Fandetti, The KendallĀ Hotel,Ā with anĀ unerring eye for beautyĀ and whimsy, and all displayed with a sophisticatedĀ charm and wit. The KendallĀ is a restored firehouse located in the heart of the MIT area of Cambridge (Google offices areĀ just across the street). CharlotteĀ scours flea markets, art exhibits, and antique shows across the country for American folk art.

It’s always amazing to drive around town the morning of the Fish Town Horribles Parade and see all the empty chairs and decorations! All of these shots were taken with my iPhone while fighting through traffic to drop off stuff at our GMG party corner. So this one is for all those folks who are not home, or moved out of town, enjoy! Now stop by the GMG tent and party with us!!!
