As long as supplies last if any GMG folks want a bumper sticker but can't drop down the dock, just send a self addressed and stamped envelope longer then 7 and a half inches and I'll drop one in the mail for you.
Send the self addressed and stamped envelope to the dock at 95 East Main St Gloucester Ma 01930 care of Joey (put my name in big letters to make sure it gets to me)

Wow, Kansas. I have been there. It was about 1958, early spring and three of us engineers were headed for Colorado in my already ancient PV544 Volvo. It was night most of the way across Kansas and snowing and blowing a gale from the north. Tumbleweeds kept flashing in front of the headlights headed south and clipping the poor old grille. Every time we went by a barn the wind would stop in the lee and the car would jump sideways about a half a lane. There was nothing but those barns once in a while. It was beautiful once it was over 🙂 Those are some kind of tough people that live there!

Great post and background on visit if I were closer be back that way too fall memories are something you don’t every forget (beauty). I wish my mom did not throw away or lose the cross country journal she keep while driving across country from Mass to AZ in a converted highway bus! I remember when we drove through Doge City she joked about meeting Matt Dillon Guns Smoke western, and I asked the lady in store for tonic (Soda Pop) when we were young Lanesville ask you what kind…she handed me hair tonic I said no tonic she said that’s is tonic. Forgot tonic in mass and out west different! 🙂 Dave & Kim :-0
