Is there any news as to what happened to the whale?

When walking Good Harbor Beach last Thursday evening, we saw a whale out beyond the surfers. Some people thought it was sick, others thought it was just resting in the warmer waters. I have to think these are one and the same, and it really is so sad.

Sad for sure! Looks like some serious internal issue here – have to wait on testing for cause of death algae blooms or other factors are possible! 😦 Dave
