I did the Challenge in 1991 when it was really Hot and the sea was as smooth as glass.

Did it hot and did it breezy, I prefer breezy. 2010, I SP50ed everything on a hot race except my thighs which looked like a Neapolitan ice cream bar by the end. Tan strip, bright strawberry then a vanilla white stripe. Made me hungry.
