On Saturday, May 23 from 8 to 11 AM the annual Annisquam Sewing Circle Plant Sale will take place at the Annisquam Village Hall, 34 Leonard St., Annisquam. The Sale will feature annuals, perennials, rose bushes, hanging baskets and more. There will also be Bake Sale table laden with cakes, cookies and savories. All proceeds will benefit Cape Ann community programs.

Rockport First Fridays – Kick off your weekend by visiting the gallery on First Fridays, when the gallery is open until 8 pm on the first Friday of every month (through Oct. 2.)
And please stop by the gallery if you’re headed to Rockport. Tusinski Gallery is open from 11-5 every day with extended seasonal hours, except for Tuesday and Wednesday (open by chance or appointment .)

This Sunday, May 17 will see the second annual Gloucester May Celebration happen at 2:00 PM on the green in front of the Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church on Middle Street Gloucester.
This free, family-friendly event will run for about one hour or so and will feature group singing from song sheets as well as instruction for simple dances including Maypole dances.
Attendees are encouraged to wear festive clothing and flowers.

Join us! Beginning Friday, May 22, Sargent House Museum will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays with tours on the hour from 12 noon to 4 pm through Labor Day weekend.

The new Tour Reception Room features information about the early owners of the house and their families. These families were ardent churchgoers, merchants and political leaders who took leadership roles in the community in the formation of state and national government both before and after the War of Independence.
