I am a live music advocate and seek to share the news of bands playing at local venues in my home town. Being drawn to blues mostly but embrace all kinds of music. One does not have to go over the bridge to hear some real fine tunes, however there are some bands that draw you elsewhere. I hope this blog is a good use to you as it is to me.
Enjoy,
Joanne

It’s great that the Singer Songwriter Shuffle is getting a new life on Thursday, Dec 18 (8:00pm), at the Minglewood Tavern (after the closing of Giuseppe’s). The design of the Shuffle is what has made it so popular here in Gloucester and I expect the idea to catch on in other areas very quickly. You get seven acts in one night—each playing a 20 minute set. It’s a great way to experience a lot of talented performers all in one night — with no cover charge! I’ll be hosting and playing each one of these events (the third Thursday of each month). T Max, singer/ songwriter/ storyteller and publisher of The Noise (New England’s longest running music magazine).
