Sad to see any local business go ‘out of business.’ We enjoyed meals there, and also stopping by for dessert and coffee after a meal elsewhere on Main Street. I wish the families well, and much happiness in the coming years!

Trattoria was a great quality Italian restaurant. Also, the owners and staff were very nice, and good neighbors. Best of luck in your future adventures!

I am so sad like family to me and Dan,. We would travel up from NJ every Friday and no problem at what time it was Peter would make sure we had a meal….Now Gloucester residents we made sure our family and friends would enjoy a great meal there

I too will miss them. They had some great food and as others have said, they are very hospitable folks. I wish them well.

OH NO!!!!!! This is my husband’s and my favorite restaurant on Cape Ann. I just returned from a trip to Italy and Sicily, which taught me just how lucky we are to have a wonderful, authentic Sicilian restaurant right here in Gloucester. Thanks so much to this great family-owned business that provided many fantastic meals and happy memories over the years. We will miss you so much. Ciao.
