  1. Beverly has the longest continuous Santa parade in the United States. Glo may have on record a parade earlier than Bev’s but at some point Glo missed a year or two. Probably when they started the greasy pole!!! 🙂 Glo can still be proud of having the longest pole!!! :-0

  2. Rumor has it that Gloucester tree lighting was filled with politicians this year. Having seen the parade last year, it’s no question that Beverly, whether older or not, gets my vote for the better of the two. Glosta- take notes for 2015 and step up!!
