I visited Big Darryl and his farm friends Friday.. He was in this same position with his tongue poking out as in this picture… And smelled to high heaven.. Ahhh, a hogs life..
He would make enough pulled pork to feed all the Blackburn Challengers, but he should just be allowed to live out his happy old pig life at Russell Orchards.
Big Darryl sticking his tongue out at you? Interesting found this Now that “Big Boy” has gone to hog heaven (2000-2011 R.I.P.), Big Darryl is the top hog. Darryl has a jaunty spring in his step and enjoys garden-rake back scratches (from his handlers only, please). We usually get a couple piglets every spring to raise for food or to send to other farms. Please keep your hands away from the pigs – they cannot see the difference between your fingers and the food in your fingers. Best to keep your hands away at all times.
100% correct about fingers and them teeth ouch had a Piggie farm up the street helped the owner’s from time-time…they don’t have much head mobility but the owner stuck his boot the fence ouch into cowboy boot… :-O Dave
