2013 Wheelers Point Thanksgiving Swim

This was the 25th anniversary of the Wheeler’s Point Thanksgiving Day Swim. Hosted by Dick and MJ Powers, the swim has grown from an original 4 swimmers to up to 70 swimmers. This year there were 22 hearty souls who braved the cold water, the cold temperature and the blustery winds!

  1. Brings the red out in the lobster swim who needs coffee to wake up after the swim that and a good towel a must… by the sounds of it wind chill present too!!! I remember breaking the ice in quarry with a rope tied around you for the polar dip 🙂
