Look who is visiting in the back yard

I love seeing wildlife around, my kids call me Snow White.  This pretty deer just looked at me.

  1. Thanks and What a back yard it is close to nature special!! I lived on private property surrounded by Carson National Forrest El Rito area – when first arrived in NM 1968 late summer…I remember going to the Canyon City coming across country and also in 1987 with a bunch of my Air Force co-workers (one lived in the area before he came in Air Force)…The mule deer were too tame and would actual come up to folks looking for handouts…Sometimes feeding them stuff that is not good for them…Normal type raw nuts, vegtables, and grains, grasses – ok. Normally oout west they will eat a wide range of items -mesquite leaves and beans, fairy duster, jojoba, cat claw, buck bush and other shrubs and grasses.- But candy bars, tootsie pops, salted popcorn and other items may not be helpful… 🙂
