  1. We came in first place using tomato juice, lemons, horse radish and a secret ingredient. I presented in vintage cocktail glasses (up so that ice would not dilute the intensity) and garnished with my fresh homemade pickles. Good luck to all this years contestants! I will be watching (and sampling) from the sidelines!

        1. The Bloody Mary angel just came in and gave me a quart of Fat & Juicy, “High Grade and Fully Loaded.” It was delivered by FOB Toby Pett. Can’t wait to sample it.

    1. In Richard’s defense, he said he used Mrs. T’s as the base of his mix and added his own ingredients to it. When I make Bloody Marys, I start with V8 spicy vegetable juice and add to that. Also, this is a friendly competition without any particular rules, except no bribing of the judges, so anything goes that the judges decide they like best. Last year, they obviously went for the Mrs. T’s taste.

  2. The judges don’t know who made what, or the ingredients/source of the tomato mix. We only know two things: What tastes good, and that Ryan & Wood Beauport Vodka is in it. It’s all about the taste. I appreciate and drink Bloody Marys, even without the high octane rocket fuel. For me, it’s better with my breakfast.
