See Food and Eat It.

I'm a see food eater. I see it and eat it. I'm also a big guy. These are my leftovers after dining at the Seaport Grille. Every Monday features $12.95 Prime Rib with two sides. It weighs in at 14 to 16 ounces. And man, it is mighty tasty! Add to that the excellent bar service from Kaela Riley (Gloucester), and conversation with long time MAC tennis coach Avis Murray and her friend Margellen Callahan, both also from 01930. Two dinners from this, and didn't kill it all.

  2. Hi Mary! I see it too. I was smiling after attacking this monster piece of meat. I neglected to specify that the cut of beef was 14 to 16 ounces, not the entire meal. Chef and owner Sheree Zizik was sitting at the bar two seats from me. I don’t really know her, but admire the great job she does. I send a ton of people there. Seaport Grille has a great CHEW and VIEW. I shuffled over and gave her a little hug and made myself known. What was I drinking? I asked Kaela to pour me a glass of the best – the wine that Sherrie was drinking! So now I got the smiley face 🙂

  4. We had dinner there Sunday night taking your advice, and we were not disappointed! I think we need to stick around for a Monday night and completely blow our diets! The peanut butter thing was the BOMB!

  5. Thursday night is $9.95 lobster roll night at the Seaport Grille. They put a fresh one pound lobster into a Virgillio’s roll. You might see me and certainly a lot of locals there for this special, particularly Kathy Downer and her friends. That place is so friendly and the grub is delicious. Never have I gone in there and not had a great meal, or not had an interesting conversation with folks. Day after tomorrow, I’ll be there. Got to “beef up” to judge the GMG Bloody Mary Contest this Sunday. See you there for the lobster roll and/or the Bloody Mary Contest at the EJ Khan Gallery on Rocky Neck. Gloucester is rocking’ and rollin’.
