If you can’t have fun in your late teens and twenties without popping pills I seriously feel sorry for you.

Had a 14 year old girl die at a foam party in NM still under investigation at this point waiting for toxicological-cause of death (COD) – So young too high of a cost for one night of fun! Mixing and matching is even more dangerous. “I have seen too many of these type issues heartbreaking.” Best advice or action is to be there for your children and talk with them before somebody else does! They also should not be scared to come to you if they have a problem so you both can work together and get it back on path. Addiction can be a terrible thing and like an arroyo or river bank once washed away never regains its original strength or structure. Life be in it the circle within is strong!!

I worked in a club in Chicago when a drug called GHB became hugely popular. The result was dozens of kids collapsing, barely able to breathe. Back then if you called 911 from a club, it counted against you and you could lose your license if too many calls were made. We did the right thing. We called, got the kids help and worked with the police to find out what was going on. Other clubs? One would just drag the kids out and leave them in the alley. Someone saw this and called the police. They found twenty kids passed out in an alley. Don’t take anything that leaves you helpless and totally dependent on other people to stay safe. Youth is not immortality.

Legalized pot, ask a kid. They understand the message being “drugs are ok”. Soon there will be pot dispensers all over the North Shore. Why not ingest bath salts, Molly, drain-o, whatever? You can’t say pot is ok and everything else is off limits. Kids pressure each other to go to the next level, Molly is the next level. I asked my college daughter if she knew what Molly was. She said “yes, I know tons of kids that do it”. I asked her to put a number on the percentage of kids that smoked pot regularly in high school and college, she said 95%. Is that acceptable?? I guess it is.
