Big Time Kudos to Those In Charge. I’d Say We’ve Never Had It So Good
Just This Year-
Harbor Walk
Three Turbines which will if “conservative numbers” pan out will provide $450K in energy savings and the City didn’t pay a dime for them.
Birdseye
Expansion at Gortons
Burnhams Field The Largest Inner City Green Space Gets Totally Redone
Endicott College Opens It’s Doors In Gloucester
Excellent New Police and Fire Chiefs
Huge windfalls in free cash and upgraded bond ratings
Huge upgrades to our water and sewer infrastructure
#Boom! You can fool good about the direction this City is taking. Honoring it’s past while readying for it’s future.
(Thanks Ed for helping me with this list)

Gloucester is like a fine wine, maturing and coalescing to meet it’s full potential. that’s why we just moved here!

Mayor Kirk has done a great job. She has the personal fortitude to say “no” to all hose with an initiative to spend more money. The President and Congress could take some lessons from her!

Sorry, but I don’t agree about those ugly, mammoth turbines. We get 450K while “they,” the foreigners, get $billions!!! using our land and our wind. We should be getting FREE TAXES for EVERY HOMEOWNER and even that would be a drop in the bucket for them…..just wait and see how they “use” us and our beautiful city.
