I noticed this Times article as well.
Remember Good Morning Gloucester posted a nice interview with members of the Lettie G. Howard crew indicating how much they liked Gloucester and how the oldest remaining fishing schooner built in Essex belonged here? I suspect that is what this is about. The last time I saw her she was in good shape and she really does belong in Gloucester, not New York.

I think it would be great to have her back in Gloucester. The lines on her are fantastic and it would really make a statement for the Glouc. Hert. Ct. to have her. Their facilites, including a railways, is perfect in my view.
