Dave Sags Blues Party to host ~ Greg Lutrell ~ Tonight at the Rhumb Line

Let’s get to it: This thursday at the Rhumb Line, we’re proud to present Mr. Greg Lutrell, the bestest, coolest guy I know. I mean it!! He just got back from Valhalla where he  competed in the special musician olympics jimnastyc competion, earning a gold metal on the parrallel universe bars. This cat can sing! And he plays the glitar like nobody! And he’s in tune! and he intones! He should move out  of Salem!
Beside himself , there will be Mr. Benny Benson, on concussion. Our favorite Irish Finn  MacCool and, and usual, Mr. Greg T on catarrh, and meselph, the basis.  Czech to make sure you got a number of a bail bondsman on your speed dial…

Whale Sighting at Bean & Leaf

An extremely happy whale has been spotted just outside Bean & Leaf on Bearskin Neck. This sculpture is attributed to uber-Rockporter Tom (he’s the guy who’s been walking around with the snow shovel for the last 8 weeks digging everybody out downtown). Stop by Bean & Leaf to check it out in person – and get a cup of coffee to sustain you while you’re at it!

Call for work for the seARTS Loan Program
at the Bass Rocks Golf Club, 34 Beach Road, Gloucester

The seARTS-Bass Rocks Art Loan Program is entering its fourth year. The Loan Program is for members of seARTS (join us now!) and will run for one year at the Bass Rocks Golf Club, installed on the main floor. Artists will be invited to an opening reception for the show in June and among the marketing opportunities, there will be Viewer’s Choice Award, a binder with artists information at the front door of the Club, general PR, and on-line promotion of the show and award winners.  
Deadline for Entries is February 23.  If an artwork is sold, the artist may replace it with a new selection after a brief review by the jury.

Children under 13 should be accompanied by an ‘older ascort’. We will have some soda and cookies/sweets. One items will be available for free and others will be available for purchase. Reservations are not necessary, however, seating is limited and letting us know before Saturday is helpful.
