Great interview. The way he describes shoveling the whiting, haunted by their faces. Hilarious. Oh yeah, they got those big eyeballs. I can see that.
Ask him more about the museum school. 18 years old in the 70s going to the MFA museum school. (But don’t ask him about recreational hallucinogenics unless that explains the whiting nightmares.)

Thanks, Paul. I attended the Museum School only for one year. And never did dope or drugs, never had any desire to. I was too busy with other stuff I guess.

Your artistry should have been used in the “Just Say No” campaign. Some friends of mine went to School MFA in the 80s and it was hard not to be entertained at the openings. The art was, touch and go.
