Wearing shorts and sandals at work and keeping an eye out for the Safety Officer. (Open toed is a no no.) On the drive in went down Yawkey Way and snapped a pic:

Fun Fact: Yawkey Way was Jersey Street back when Tiant and Bill Lee were pitching for the Sox.

On Easter Sunday night there will be baseball played in Fenway Park. The Yankees have reloaded after dumping Matsui and Damon in the trash.

I accidentally got an awesome seat in 2004. Doesn’t this get you all tingly?

Another sign of summer to come, The Rudder opens on Thursday April 15. Are you going to shoe horn yourself in there on the 15th? Because of flooding Tax Day for us has moved to May 11. Is that true? I’ll take it.

Kate Seidman and The Art Room Boutique are happy to announce a new venture:
Ten Pound Studio – a fabric arts working & teaching studio.Housed on the 3rd floor of One Center Street in downtown Gloucester (entrance to the right of The Art Room Boutique).
Staffed by creative, professional artists who wish to continue Gloucesters tradition of encouraging and developing textile arts.
We are offering classes to adults at all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
April Schedule:
1. Silk Painting: Tuesday mornings 10-12:30 $100/ 4 weeks
Introduction to the art of silk painting.
Teacher – Kate Seidman
2. Sewing: Thursday evenings 6-9 PM $100/ 4 weeks
Bring a project, bring your own machine, and learn.
Teacher – Helen Begley
May Schedule: the center will continue intro to silk painting, sewing, and add two more classes: Color Theory and Advanced Surface Design
(days and times to be announced).

We also have a $50 membership which gives you independent studio time, a discount on classes, and when we find them – locker space.

We poked through the Apple store last night and I saw this new Eye-Fi SD card.  I thought all you GMG readers/photographers would love it!

It’s an SD card that wirelessly uploads all your photos to your computer and photo sharing sites like Flickr or Facebook and can even tag each image with a geo-location! They sell them at Apple for $49.99, but I have seen them online for a few bucks cheaper. I told Mike this is on my “list”.

My number 4 Son Chris is number 1 in the East Division of the North Shore Interscholastic Chess League, Board #2.

The GHS Chess Team had a great Year, had a lot of Fun and met some great Friends From other High Schools across the State.

Congrats Chris.
