Joey, what kind of fishing would be done on this boat?

It’s probably best used as a jigging boat but as a pure fishing boat from what my fishermen tell me it has way too little deck space, and no scuppers to wash the waste overboard. I’m no fisherman though and as much time as I spend on our dock I have surprisingly little time on the water.
The proposed use as a cheaply built patrol boat for the Navy makes much more sense to me because it is very fuel efficient but as a commercial fishing boat I just don’t see it. It would be nice if the Navy gave some young entrepreneurs a contract to build a whole mess of them.

Well Joey, it is a pretty boat (BUT) I personaly would not even consider it for commercial fishing use. WAY to little deck space even for jigging. ok so the fuel is cheap “but” docking , insurance, your truck payments, house ect . have not changed. that boat would hold (safe) for the deck hands perhaps three tote’s of fish. not going to cut it with today’s prices brother. deck to small to tuna fish on , way to small to lobster on. hey i know , someone with alot of money can play on it and pretend to be a commercial fisherman. did you look at the buy it now price on e-bay ? for that kind of money you could get the Hanna Mary that’s for sale on mass. lobstermans acc. and really go fishing. but hey it’s just my opinion and as they say, their just like a a##ho%@ everyone has one right ?
