This is no vanilla Disney version of what a Main street is supposed to look like, this is the real deal.
This is Gloucester! So next time someone rips on it, tell them to get their head out of their ass and head downtown to our fantastic restaurants, browse the art galleries and shops, sip some great coffee at our community coffee shops and then talk. I’m convinced the ones that rip on it don’t even check out all the great stuff and people that make up our incredible Downtown, otherwise they would be singing it’s praises too.

I grew up nearby Gloucester and have recently moved here to make it my home. Everyone who visits us is in awe when they see the Boulevard and Main Street. All residents should be proud of where they live and support the local businesses and industry.

I moved here 14 years ago and I always call Gloucester my “hometown of choice”. I didn’t get to go to the Block Party for long because I was at the art auction but that was packed and wonderful too. Gloucester has so much to offer.
