Jane Gibbs Represents! In Sunny Bermuda

Hi Joey!

Here I am at the Royal Naval Dockyard  in beautiful  Bermuda representing the best blog evah!  I cruised for the first time, aboard the Norwegian Dawn, on the Boston to Bermuda run, with a gang of 8 other passionate and crazy-ass seaglassers to peruse the Bermuda beaches. Had planned to take the sticker to the top of the Gibbs Hill Lighthouse but blew off that excursion to snorkel for seaglass at Fort St. Catherine! Congratulations on the CBS Boston Most Valuable Blogger win!!!!!  Cheers to you and all your GMG peeps!  Gloucester native, longtime FOB, and future return resident – Jane M. Gibbs (PS. Dwight Hebert Represents! In Roma

GMG was once again a witness to the sites and sounds of Europe, this time we are in Roma.  A wonderful city, with warm people who send their love and affection to the folks on Cape Ann.  Next on the agenda (tonight)…the closing ceremonies for the Barcelona (Spain, if in question) fire festival, aka: La Merce Festival. It features a fireworks and laser show.  Monday, we head to Ibiza and then to Formentera.

Abbey Mathews Represents! In Italy

Hi Joey!
The Mathews family are big fans of Good Morning Gloucester and our daughter Abbey who just Graduated from UMass Amherst this spring is spending a year in Florence Italy working on her Masters.  Here she is "representing" at the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio.    She’s already missing the Fall here…so I’m sure she’ll be looking forward to the fall pictures on GMG!

A very limited run of new GMG stickas versions 6.0 and 7.0 have hit the dock courtesy FOB’s Frank Ciolino and Shewsbury.

The innovators that they are produced transparent stickas for use on windows or boats.  One is transparent with a white Beth Swan GMG Sticka design on it and the other is transparent with a navy blue logo.  send in your SASE for yours.  Instructions in the right hand column of the website for the address.

Lisa Ramos Represents! Down In Sanibel

Joey, I brought my GMG sticka to Sanibel last week to represent at Blind Pass.  Funny thing happened on the way back to get coffee.  I went into the Sanibel Bean shop.  They have great photos of people all over the world holding theirs too.  But then when I told the lady that I have just done the same with my Good Morning Gloucester sticka and showed it to her, and asked for a Sanibel bean bumpa sticka and I would take a pick in front of the fishermans statue for her, she could not understand what I was asking for.

Lady -"What is it you would like dear?"

Me- "A bumpa sicka"

Lady "A what?"

Me – " A BUMPA STICKA!"

Lady – "what?"

Me-  pause   "Oh sorry a bumperrrr stickerrrr"

Then I got one of hers and gave her my GMG sticka.
